flower basketReflecting on  Mother’s Day in May, I thought every day should be Mother’s Day! Simple reason, you are a Mum every day. But for a Mum to feel that special every day, she needs to do a few special things for herself.

As mothers, the naturing nature we have sends us to giving and doing a lot for our families and the people around us. so, because we are mothers and it may not be practical to do much for ourselves every day, I wrote a list of things that I do to take care of myself and I am sharing them with you.

These are 20. Try do one or two a day. Add more to your list and take care of yourself.


  • Take a walk
  • Take a long shower or bath
  • Buy yourself some flowers
  • Have some sun
  • Listen to music
  • Move your body, dance or stretch
  • Read inspirational quotes or a book
  • Pray
  • Take a cup of tea or coffee
  • Organize a room or closet
  • Try out a recipe
  • Watch a movie
  • Give yourself a Manicure or Pedicure
  • Take a nap
  • Have a laugh
  • Learn something new
  • Play with your pet
  • Ask for help, accept help
  • Do something you love to do
  • Dress up.
